The Huawei MatePad 12 X 2025 tablet has been launched in UK and it offers some attractive features along with upgrades from its predecessor. The tablet gets PaperMatte Display.
When it comes to specifications, the Huawei MatePad 12 X tablet gets a 12-inch LCD display that comes with a resolution of 2800 x 1840 pixels, up to 1000 nits of brightness. The refresh rate is up to 144Hz, and there is support for HDR Vivid. The MatePad 12 X also comes with PaperMatte coating. It is expected to reduce the glare and offer texture of the paper.
Huawei has claimed that the PaperMatte display offers better readability in outdoor conditions. There is also support for stylus input.
The tablet is powered by Kirin T92B chipset and it is paired with 12GB of RAM. The storage is 256GB. There is a 3D vapor chamber for better heat dissipation. The Huawei MatePad 12 X offers HarmonyOS 4.3 out of the box.
When it comes to camera, the device offers 50MP rear camera with LED flash. The front camera gets an 8MP sensor. In terms of sensor, the device offers six speakers along with dual microphones.
Battery on the tablet is 10,100 mAh battery and there is 66W fast charging. Connectivity wise the device offers Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.2. Weight of the device is 555g and thickness is 5.9mm. The device gets 12GB + 256GB Wi-Fi only variant in UK and it costs £599.
