Their defense has struggled, allowing more than 40 points per game on average, and they are particularly vulnerable to opposing rushing attacks. Quarterback Jacob Clark has thrown five touchdowns with six interceptions so far, and wide receiver Jmariyae Robinson leads the team in receiving yards.
UT Martin is 0‑3 and still looking for that first win. Their offense has sputtered, scoring only about 11 points per game, though Jase Bauer has shown some accuracy in the passing game. Running back John Gentry has had some carries, and wide receiver Bryce Bailey has decent yardage, but not much in the way of end zone production yet. If UT Martin wants to stay in this game, they’ll need to limit big plays and have a clean second half.
