About “The Girl Who Survived: The Alina Thompson Story”
Based on a true story, “The Girl Who Survived” follows 15-year-old Alina Thompson, a model seeking success in 1980s Los Angeles.
When Alina gives her parents the slip to take part in an amateur casting with rising photographer William Bradford, she unwittingly becomes the target of a vicious serial killer. With a camera and a wealth of eager young women in front of the lens, Bradford offers his victims industry assistance and high quality photo shoots — from which they’ll never escape. Except Alina. Due to a bit of luck and her parents’ intuition, she survives her fateful encounter with the man who manipulated her while promising fame.
