15 years since the Crawley family first landed on the small screen, the final chapter of “Downton Abbey” finally comes to a close with its third and final feature-length film releasing in cinemas this week. “Downton Abbey” first aired on our TVs in 2010, running for six seasons that started in the 1910s, traversing through the first Great War and hurtling into the Roaring 20s. It then made its way onto the big screen with its first feature length movie in 2019 and, on September 12, the third and final film will be released: “Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale”.
To celebrate this momentous, decade-spanning period drama, the cast are getting together at the Savoy Hotel in London to look back on the show that has captured hearts around the world. The cast will look back on the last 15 years, telling behind the scene stories and more. The line-up for the special includes Hugh Bonneville, Laura Carmichael, Jim Carter, Raquel Cassidy (Phyllis Baxter), Michelle Dockery and Paul Giamatti.

“Downton Abbey Celebrates the Grand Finale” will drop on ITVX on Friday, September 12 — the same day as the release of the third and final film in cinemas.

“Downton Abbey Celebrates the Grand Finale” is set to air on NBC on TV in the U.S. on Wednesday, September 10 at 9 p.m. ET / PT.
There are several ways you can access NBC, the most obvious one being to pull it down with one of the best TV antennas. Plus, it is common to most cable plans.
Alternatively, NBC is also in the channel line-ups of a good few of our picks for the best streaming services. That includes Sling TV, Fubo, YouTube TV and Hulu + Live TV.
