The Recording Academy and CBS have joined forces to celebrate nine-time Grammy-winning group Earth, Wind & Fire with an unforgettable musical event. Fittingly hosted on the 21st night of September, A Grammy Salute to Earth, Wind & Fire Live: The 21st Night of September will be televised live from the Hollywood Bowl.
Since the musical event is broadcast on CBS, cord-cutters can stream it live on any live TV streaming service that carries the network, including DirecTV, Fubo and Hulu + Live TV. The event will also livestream on Paramount+ Premium (formerly Paramount+ with Showtime). While Paramount+ Essential subscribers will not be able to watch the special live, they will be able to access it on demand the following day, Sept. 22.
The legendary band will perform alongside the L.A. Philharmonic, inviting onstage special guests including Stevie Wonder, the Jonas Brothers, Jon Batiste and Janelle Monáe. This marks the first of two televised Grammy specials taking place at the Hollywood Bowl within the month, the second of which will highlight Cyndi Lauper (on Oct. 5).
Select streamers are offering free trials and limited-time discounts, meaning viewers can catch the star-studded event for free; keep reading to learn more about each option.
