Ghost of Yotei might be an action game, but there are plenty of puzzles to get you scratching your head. One, the Reliquary of Strength, involves turning some statues to face the right directions, but it’s not that easy to figure out where they need to point. This article has all the answers you need.
How to solve the Reliquary of Strength puzzle in Ghost of Yotei
The Reliquary of Strength is located in the Ishikari Plain and is being examined by an NPC when you first arrive. Chat to them and they’ll move, giving you the chance to solve the puzzle that has been confusing them. Like all the Reliquary puzzles, this one comes with a clue: “The mountain raised the boy as her own. Demons looked away from them in fear. But the wolf watched them both, ready to provide aid.”
So, we need to turn the statues that surround the main stone with the inscription to face the right way, and that will solve the puzzle. You will notice that some of the statues have demon masks, and the other is a wolf. You will also notice, if you turn a statue, that another statue will move as well, making it hard to get them all lined up the way we want.
As a note, if you make a mistake, you can fast-travel away from the puzzle and then back again, which will reset it. So, here is what you need to do. Start out by facing the puzzle to match the image above, face on toward the engraving on the stone. Then, turn the statues in the below order, and number of times.
Turn the front left statue once
Turn the back left statue twice
Turn the front left statue once
Turn the front right statue twice
Doing all this will earn you the Charm of Mount Yotei, which, when equipped, will grant you some damage reduction and regained health on a perfect parry.
