Some of the challenges in Battlefield 6 are overly grindy, and restoring vehicle health is one of the worst offenders. It should be a simple matter, but unfortunately, bugs and overbearing requirements make it a pain. Here are some tips to get through the challenge. How to complete the vehicle repair challenge in Battlefield 6 To complete Engineer 1, the repair vehicle challenge, you need to repair any vehicles for 2,000 damage. You’ll know you’re making progress when you see the Repair score descriptor pop up as you’re repairing. You also get 10 score per five seconds of repairing, so keep an eye out for that. The trouble is, the repair vehicle challenge is currently bugged as of writing, and isn’t properly tracking how much repairing you do. If you know you were stuck to your team’s tanks like glue the whole match and didn’t see much progress, that’s why. As for modes to play, I’d say stick to Conquest whenever possible. Do a Custom Search for maps with tanks, specifically Operation Firestorm, Mirak Valley, Manhattan Bridge, and Blackwell Fields. That selection gives you the highest volume of vehicles, and enough space on the map to always be near a tank or in a transport helicopter, keeping it alive. Stick behind your tanks and, whenever they take damage (and they will), be sure your Repair Tool is trained squarely on their backside. I know how grueling a task the Engineer 1 challenge is, but if you buckle down, it’ll get done. And once it’s done, you’ll never have to do it again.
