How to Investigate the Mysterious Anomaly in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 4

Fortnite regularly releases fresh quests for you to tackle, most of which don’t give you much information to go off of. Story quests are especially tricky to solve, with one of the tougher ones you’re given asking you to investigate the mysterious anomaly. This is the final story quest featured in Chapter Six, season four, outside of any additional ones that pop up during the finale live event that transitions the island into next season. It’s a crucial one to get done if you want to know what’s coming next, and a really easy way to quickly earn lots of XP, so here’s how to investigate the mysterious anomaly in Fortnite. What is the Mysterious Anomaly in Fortnite? The mysterious anomaly is Bart’s Treehouse in Fortnite. This is a small, special location you can visit on the island leading up to the end of Chapter Six, season four. It’s a teaser for the next season, which will be themed around The Simpsons. The treehouse is not a main POI or Landmark location, and blends in with the environment fairly well if you don’t know what you’re looking for, so it’s quite tricky to track down. This location consists of a small, pen-and-ink style patch of grass, a treenhouse, and a television. When you step onto the grass or enter the treehouse, your skin is outlined with the pen-and-ink style unless you’re playing as a character already in this style. The television inside the treehouse flickers between various shots from The Simpsons. Investigate the Mysterious Anomaly in Fortnite To complete the investigate the mysterious anomaly quest, you simply need to visit Bart’s Treehouse one time. Most story quests require you to put in a lot more effort, so you might expect that more needs to be done for this one, but luckily, all you need to do is venture to this spot. You’re not really told what to look out for or how to get there, though, so it can be a tough task to get done. Bart’s Treehouse Location in Fortnite Bart’s Treehouse can be found near the upper left corner of the Fortnite island, slightly northwest of Creepy Camps where you might run into Jason. It’s near the edge of the cliff at this location and is situated on the very outskirts of the island. Since it’s so far away from everything else, it’s a location you likely won’t visit naturally. Instead, you’ll need to intentionally venture to this spot for the quest. Bart’s Treehouse growing on the island signals the impending end of Chapter Six, season four, so be sure to check it out while you can. You’ll also want to make sure you tackle all remaining quests you might not have gotten to yet, like hiding in dumpsters in different matches, carving pumpkins, completing found quests, defeating Ultima Carver, and visiting Stalkboxes.
