The power of friendship is important for all manner of things, but in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, it can be a requirement for leveling up some of your Pokemon. In this guide, we'll break down how to increase friendship levels with your various Pokemon, and how to check the level. Check out our POKEMON LEGENDS: Z-A INTERACTIVE MAP. How to increase Friendship Level in Pokemon Legends: Z-A The good news is that increasing your friendship level with your Pokemon is quite easy; all you need to do is have them in your party and use them in battles. Make sure you avoid having them faint during tough fights, however, as this can negatively affect friendship. Nobody wants to be made to fight until they fall over, after all. You can also find berries that will improve friendship, but use these with caution. They can often result in a drop in a listed stat, so make sure you are not negatively impacting something your Pokemon is reliant on in battles. You can also hang out with them at cafes, which will increase friendship level for little more than the cost of your drink. Now, the friendship level is, in a way, a hidden stat. It is not present on your Pokemon profiles as a number or icon. If you want to check it, then you will need to complete a side mission, number 25, called Troublesome Patrons. You can find this side mission at the Cafe Pokemon-Amie in the Magenta Sector 4 region. The cafe is having some trouble and can't open, but once you help them out, they'll be open for business again. Once the mission is complete and the cafe is open, look for an NPC sitting with a Roselia. You can talk to her, and she will be able to check your friendship level with any Pokemon, as long as they are on your team.
