Season War Ablaze continues the collaboration between Delta Force and Arknights with the new event: Swarm Nocturne. It’s a top-down view minigame where you need to clear enemies, loot items, and complete objectives to save the world from a threat.
The minigame takes a good amount of time to complete, and while you can extract midway to save some LMDs, clearing it awards a collaboration skin for P90. So here’s how to complete the Swarm Nocturne event in Delta Force.
How to complete Swarm Nocturne stage one in Delta Force
Entering the Museum
Your first goal is to enter the Museum. From the spawn, head up through the weaker enemies and reach Exusiai. Near her, there’s also an extraction point that you can use to get out early (progress isn’t saved, and you’ll start over next time)
Use quick combat:
Early on, the game unlocks Quick Combat, which skips the scene of characters fighting. Enable the option it using a toggle in the top left of the screen.
After you go to the right to the Hammam Area, you’ll be above the hotel with Schwarz and Ceylon. The entrance to the Museum is marked with green arrows at the bottom of this area, but to enter it, you need to collect a Silver and a Gold Coin.
Here’s how to get the coins to enter the Museum:
Silver Coin: Talk to either Schwarz or Ceylon near the hotel. To get the coin from Schwarz, you need to have 500 HP or less. To get the coin from Ceylon, you need to have more than 3,000 HP.
Gold Coin: Talk to Swire the Elegant Wit (girl with a black hat) to the left of the hotel and kill the nearby Rocket Rat to get the coin. You can also buy items from her to greatly increase HP.
Don’t go after the coins immediately. The game is all about looting as much as possible to increase Stinger‘s stats and be able to tackle tougher enemies. Use the Estimate Outcome feature that shows how much health you might lose to determine whether the enemy is worth fighting. It often depends on your HP, but try not to go after enemies above 200, unless necessary.
A few other things you can look to do in this stage are to save the crocodile near Ch’en and Hoshiguma (kill both enemies and set the crocodile free), collect the kettle to greatly increase HP, and grab the green can between traps to increase Attack.
Opening the door
With all the coins, you can now enter the Museum. Explore every room using keycards—there’s the first floor, the top floor, and the basement. Your objective is the metal door with the safe behind it in the basement. To open it, you need to talk to Reis (boss in the red beret at the top floor) and/or Saeed (boss in a skull mask next to the safe).
Each boss has their own solution to opening the safe:
Reis: Get the bomb from Wiš’adel near the Tower of Babel.
Saeed: Restore the power supply by pulling two switches inside the Museum and asking the Executor to help reduce the load.
You’ll need to fight both bosses anyway, so the safest way to approach this is to do both and select the option to pull the switch and use the bomb when opening the door. This will kick off the fight between Reis and Saeed, leaving you only one boss to deal with.
Tower of Babel
In the Tower of Babel, you lose all the stats and buffs you gained so far, and basically start over. There are plenty of doors and rooms, but you only start with one keycard. Travel up the tower while defeating weaker enemies to gather Combat EXP, meeting up with different Operators to get buffs, and collecting items.
Combat EXP is key in the Tower of Babel. Use it at vendor shops in the top left of your screen to buy stats and keycards. Wiš’adel, who you can find on the 2F, offers the best value for LMDs, but Ch’en offers minor and cheaper upgrades when you’re low on Combat EXP.
There are a bunch of keycards at 5F that you can get relatively early on, so you can aim to grab those and keep exploring from there. Swire the Elegant Wit on 6F offers to double your Combat EXP for half the LMDs, which is something you can leave until later. Texas the Omertosa on 4F offers to double your HP, as well as increase Attack and DEF by 1.5x. She should be your nearly last stop before heading above 10F to fight the final boss.
The final boss is Desmoulins. There are two stages to the fight, with the opportunity to gather more Combat EXP and upgrades in between. As long as you’ve cleared every other floor, you should be good to finish the stage and get your rewards.
