How to access the Euphoria Coast Automech Repair Center in The Outer Worlds 2

The Euphoria Coast Automech Repair Center in The Outer Worlds 2 is a part of a couple side quests like “An Aegis Against the Miasma” and "Vanquishing the Vexing Vapors." It's also home to one of the best gadgets, the Gas-Energy Deflection Apparatus. However, to get it, you must first overcome another challenge: getting inside the Automech Repair Center. Soldiers at the front gate won’t let you inside the repair center unless you either have a pass or a good reason to visit the Protectorate facility. Here's how to access the Euphoria Coast Automech Repair Center in The Outer Worlds 2. How to access the Euphoria Coast Automech Repair Center in The Outer Worlds 2 The Euphoria Coast Automech Repair Center is located on the southeastern side of Paradise Island, and there are two methods to access the facility. One involves collecting a pass card, while the other requires you to have Engineering level three. There is no “right answer” as picking one over the other won’t change the interactions you have inside the center. It’s all a matter of what fits your playstyle. Keep in mind that entering the Euphoria Coast Automech Repair Center without authorization makes all NPCs hostile to you, so make sure to use one of the following methods. Method #1 — Euphoria ARC Pass This is a simple, fast, and effective way of getting permission to enter the Euphoria Coast Automech Repair Center. You will only need to obtain the Euphoria ARC Pass. The pass can be printed using a terminal inside the Ministry of Accuracy on the west side of Paradise Island. If this is your first time visiting, there will be lots of Raptidons to kill, so be sure to replenish your bullets. Inside the Ministry of Accuracy, head to the western side and use the stairs to access the largest building. If you haven't already been to Fairfield, you'll meet Inez in the first corridor. In any case, go to the room further back and look for the ladder to your right. Climb it to go up to the next floor, which has a gap separating the south from the north side of the room. Jump over the gap to the other side to find the terminal. Use the terminal and select [ALERT: Overdue Deliverable] followed up by [Print Euphoria ARC Pass]. By choosing these options, you will receive the access pass. Open your inventory to find it in the quest items tab. With this item in your possession, travel to the repair center, and talk to Sub-Mechanist Cade Tierney. Choose to show the access pass and watch Tierney squirm as they're a bit afraid of having offended a Protectorate official. Method #2 — Engineering You don’t need to obtain the ARC Pass if you are a good engineer! The second method to access the Euphoria Coast Automech Repair Center involves a bit of roleplaying and points allocated to the right skills. Without the ARC Pass, talk to Sub-Mechanist Cade Tierney in front of the repair center. In case you have at least Engineering 2, you can pick the dialogue option, “I’m fairly handy with automechs, if there’s work for me.” Sub-Mechanist Cade Tierney will find it suspicious that you appeared out of nowhere, and say you might be a spy. If you have Speech 3, the "Because if I was a spy, you’d already feel at ease knowing that I’m not a spy" surprisingly convinces Tierney to let you inside. However, to make Sub-Mechanist Cade Tierney accept you without raising any suspicion, you'll need Engineering 3. With Engineering 3, talk to him and select the dialogue option, "I just want to see what passes for automechanicals in these parts and help where I can," which will give you a free pass to the repair center.
