Not only was the voter turnout historic (with more than two million people voting in the New York election alone), but Democrats had huge wins across the board — all in the middle of the longest government shutdown in history. Naturally, this has garnered A LOT of reactions from people across the internet. So when Reddit user owen__wilsons__nose asked: "Reddit, how are we feeling about tonight's election results?" I wanted to share their reactions. Here's what they said below: 1. "This is a VERY clear message to Trump and the entire Republican party: QUIT TRYING TO FUCK OVER AMERICANS!
