Veteran actress Shabana Azmi turned 75 on September 18, and her friends and family showered her with heartfelt wishes. Farhan Akhtar, who was late to the party, made up for it with a touching note and a candid picture. The unseen photo shows Shabana and Farhan laughing heartily together.
Along with the picture, Farhan wrote, “Happy belated birthday Shabana.. have the best year yet.. filled with deep meaningful conversation and frivolous antakshari’s, work travel and girl trips, ambition and abandon .. but please please in this landmark year… say NO to cucumber sandwiches..!! Meanwhile, Farhan Akhtar is producing Boong, a Manipuri film by Lakshmipriya Devi that hit theatres on September 19. Produced by Excel Entertainment in collaboration with Chalkboard Entertainment and Suitable Pictures, the film marks a significant milestone in Manipuri cinema. Gugun Kipgen and Bala Hijam play key roles, and the movie is being screened in select cities at PVR and INOX theatres.
