A Nairnshire hotel and restaurant, which reopened in spring under new management is looking to expand as plans to turn a former bed and breakfast into extra accommodation space.
Boath House was reopened in March this year after it abruptly ceased business in January with the previous management.
Since then, a new team at the helm has strived to bring back the beautiful mansion and estate back to its former popularity.
Now, a planning application has been lodged with Highland Council seeking to convert the former Bed and Breakfast The Wendy Hoose into “ancillary hotel accommodation” from its current use as private dwelling.
The plans were lodged by company West Highlands Ltd, which is owned by Steve Mayne — who also owns Boath House.
They are currently open at the consultation stage, which will end on October 6.
Boath House has been contacted for comment.
