Hollywood actor dies in crash 'with vehicle going wrong way'

A Grey’s Anatomy actor has died in a crash. Brad Everett Young died after a collision with a vehicle going the wrong way, his publicist said. The incident happened on the 134 Freeway. The actor died at the scene. The other driver was hospitalised. Brad, also a photographer, had also appeared in Boy Meets World among other shows and was 46 years old. Young appeared in hit medical drama Grey’s Anatomy, Beverly Hills 90210, Numb3rs, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and others, including roles in Hollywood films such as Charlie’s Angels, Jurassic Park III and Men of Honour. He took small parts – the Grey’s one was in series 5 – but was mainly known for his work with celebrities as a photographer. The Express reports that he was well-known in Hollywood. He worked on projects behind the camera with Vanity Fair, Vogue, and The Hollywood Reporter and captured stars such as Sarah Michelle Gellar and Seth Green. His publicist Paul Christensen told The Hollywood Reporter: “Brad’s passion for both the arts and the people behind them was unmatched.” The film website IMDB said: “Born and raised in Virginia (VA) Brad graduated with a Bachelor of Science with plans to attend Medical School in Los Angeles. Upon moving to Los Angeles the acting bug bit hard and plans to pursue an acting career flourished.” Tributes have poured in. with Chris McKenna, who plays Jack on General Hospital, shared photos taken by Young on his Instagram , writing: “These were taken just a couple weeks ago by the late @bradley206 we won’t see another like him.” General Hospital actor, Parry Shan, wrote: “Brad Everett Young was one of the kindest and most generous people I have ever met. But the one trait that made him truly stand out in this business, often filled with cynicism, was his indomitable positivity.” One fan on X said: “A lovely man who was respectful to fans and the celebrities whose pictures he took. Such a tragedy, such a loss. I pray for comfort to his family and friends. RIP Brad Everett Young.” Another said: “Deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Brad Everett Young, Brad passed away Sunday night following an automobile accident he was so nice! He will forever be remembered for his work as an event photographer for all the stars and his work as an actor and screenwriter.” Brad is survived by his brother, Chris.
