Gemma Bissix has disclosed whether Clare Devine-Banks will make a comeback to Hollyoaks following her dramatic exit. The village's most notorious troublemaker made a shocking return from beyond the grave earlier this year in a breathtaking plot twist and has been wreaking havoc ever since. Clare has been evading capture after gunning down her sister Grace Black (Tamara Wall), resulting in her demise, and remains hell-bent on escaping the village. During Wednesday's (October 29) episode on E4, Clare pinched Grace's passport whilst plotting her permanent vanishing act, but grandfather Froggy Black (John Middleton) had anticipated her move and thwarted her plans. As squad cars surrounded Clare, she delivered an ominous threat to her grandfather, vowing she would exact her vengeance, reports the Manchester Evening News . Speaking about Clare's recent appearance for Hollyoaks' 30th anniversary, Gemma revealed: "Clare couldn't stay in the village after killing her own sister, never thought her grandad would be the one to shop her though. "This last six months working alongside my best friend Tamara Wall has been the best of my life so far. "Clare will always find a way to wiggle out of it she always does (even death) but for now I will be leaving her red stiletto firmly in the Hollyoaks sign! See you soon... Froggy will need putting straight eventually." When Clare emerged from the dead, she was exposed as the mysterious Mrs Banks, the spouse of bent copper Alistair Banks (Drew Cain) who had been orchestrating the appalling exploitation scheme. Gemma, speaking about her unexpected return as Clare 12 years after her character was killed off, said: "It was something that wasn't really in my sights because she was dead!". "I didn't really think that it was going to happen again. And now, it seems like I've never been away. "It's been amazing except now, I've got two children who never thought I was anything other than just their mum, so now they're like: 'Oh! You did have a life before hand!'." Fans will be on tenterhooks to see if and when Clare will come back to exact revenge on grandad Froggy. Hollyoaks airs Monday to Wednesday on E4 at 7pm and first look episodes can be streamed Channel 4 from 7am
