H&M's faux fur heels divide shoppers' opinions as the brand launches luxe autumn range

H&M has just launched its new autumn collection, and it’s already proving a winner with shoppers for being one of the most luxe-looking ranges on the high street with budget-friendly prices.

The collection embraces some of the season’s hottest trends, featuring preppy argyle knits, crisp tailoring, and sumptuous chocolate brown essentials that appear far more costly than their wallet-friendly price points.

Faux fur also takes centre stage throughout the collection, featuring on snug outerwear and accessories that nod to the popular ‘Mob wife’ trend from previous seasons.

Whilst most of the collection has garnered acclaim for its sophisticated, designer-esque aesthetic, there’s one particular piece that has sparked debate online: a pair of faux fur heels. The Court Shoes, retailing at £37.99, have created quite a buzz, prompting shoppers to share their thoughts on social media, with some playfully likening the bold footwear to “hobbit feet”.

The unconventional design merges traditional court heels with plush faux fur accents, and one X user has suggested H&M is “not the first brand trying to make them happen.” Therefore, the question remains, will these heels become autumn’s most coveted shoe trend?, reports the Mirror.

Whether you adore them or loathe them, these fluffy heels have certainly sparked conversation, and with limited sizes left, they seem to be flying off the shelves already.

If you’re not persuaded by the polarising shoes, explore some of our top picks (and less contentious) items from H&M’s autumn collection.
