Hiboy launches new EX9 urban commuter e-bike with dual-sided torque sensors and 62-mile range at $1,200 (Reg. $2,000)
Running alongside its ongoing Fall EV Sale, Hiboy has launched the latest of its commuting solutions with a significant discount. You can now hop aboard Hiboy’s new EX9 Urban Commuter e-bike for $1,199.98 shipped, after using the promo code DAB1 at checkout for additional savings, which sadly does not stack with the Fall Sale codes. This new model will be fetching $2,000 without the launch discounts we’re seeing here for the moment, which has been cut down to $1,300, with the promo code providing an additional $100 cut to the tag for $800 in total savings. This is quite the deal to receive right out of the gate and sets the bar for future discounts down the road.
The new Hiboy EX9 commuter e-bike has been designed for riders of varying ages and abilities, with it even sporting the brand’s first dual-sided torque sensors for a more intuitive and responsive performance to match the pedaling efforts of whoever has taken the saddle. The 750W rear hub motor (peaking at 1,000W) comes powered by the removable and waterproof 11.6Ah battery, giving it the juice to reach up to 28 MPH top speeds, depending on your state’s laws. There are three different riding modes to simplify things: a bike mode for manual pedaling, a power-assisted mode for up to 62 miles of travel, or the pure electric mode that does all the work for you for up to 31 miles.
Despite the massive discount and 60-pound minimalist design, you’re still getting some solid features here, like the hydraulic front suspension fork, dual hydraulic disc brakes, 26-inch by 2.5-inch fat tires, adjustable handlebars, a rear cargo rack, an IPX5 water-resistant construction, an impressive 330-pound payload, an LED screen for setting controls, and more.
If you are looking for an alternate form of travel to add to your commutes, be sure to also check out Hiboy’s other e-bikes and e-scooters seeing up to 50% discounts – with bonus savings – while its Fall EV Sale continues. There’s also Segway’s new E3 Pro Electric Scooter launch deal, and Navee’s ongoing Autumn Sale with up to 20% savings on e-scooters. And this isn’t the only EV sale we’ve spotted recently, as Rad Power’s ongoing Fall Savings Sale is offering varying bundles on new and legacy e-bikes (including several extra battery bundles) starting from $1,499. We also recently spotted Ride1Up’s End of Summer Sale with up to $600 discounts starting from $995, with a new annual low price on the Prodigy V2 9-speed Mid-Drive e-bike. You’ll find other ongoing savings from past weeks from Heybike, Tenways, and more collected into our Green Deals hub.
