Hellas Verona will be without Suat Serdar for Sunday’s Serie A lunch-time meeting with Inter Milan. The German midfielder suffered a knee sprain during Wednesday’s match against Como and has been ruled out by coach Paolo Zanetti. The club confirmed the news in an official statement, via FCInterNews. “Suat Serdar will not be available for the Hellas Verona–Inter match due to a knee sprain sustained during the Como–Verona fixture on October 29.” Serdar’s absence is a significant blow for Verona, who were already managing several fitness concerns heading into the match. The 28-year-old had been a key presence in midfield, offering both physicality and experience in Zanetti’s setup.
