Helen McCrory will always live on, thanks to her impressive body of work on screen, but that's not the only way the star's spirit is alive. The Peaky Blinders actor's 19-year-old daughter, Manon, has taken her mother's surname to honour her legacy and follow in her philanthropic footsteps. Helen shared Maron with Homeland actor Damian Lewis. Speaking about her mum's passing for the first time since her death four years ago, she said that she is keeping up her mum's charity work. She has become a member of the Sir Hubert Von Herkomer Arts Foundation (HVH), a charity that was very close to her mother's heart, since its inception in 2013. The charity offers free art education and creative opportunities for young people from underprivileged backgrounds. Manon told MailOnline: 'The reason I became involved with HVH was through my mother, who was constantly looking for new ways to shine light on the London youth. 'I’ve participated in some of HVH’s courses before and love the way it encourages young people of varied ages to be inspired by one another; working together on projects that they are passionate about with the support of HVH and without the limitations and rules some children feel are enforced in schools.’ She added: ‘The role of the youth ambassador is varied but often involves working with the HVH team - notably the wonderfully talented Debbi Clark - to come up with course ideas, so the children have autonomy over their passions and how they want to develop them.' Helen died in April 2021, aged 52, following a 'heroic' cancer battle which she kept hidden from the public. The Harry Potter star had been married to Damian Lewis for 14 years at the time of her death.
