A ‘brilliant’ heated airer that shoppers say ‘warms the house’ is currently on sale at Amazon in a limited time deal. The Yorking 1500W Heated Clothes Airer comes with a cover and has been cut in price from £70 to £54. Shoppers have been left so impressed that the item has amassed an overall score of 4.1 out of five stars from over 200 reviews. The airer boasts a 60℃ constant temperature, as well as safe drying with overheat protection and auto shut-off. What’s more, the airer is suitable for heavier loads thanks to its 20kg capacity, meaning it’s ideal for drying towels, bedding, or larger loads of laundry when the Welsh weather isn’t playing ball. If storage space is an issue, then shoppers needn’t worry about the airer taking up too much room thanks to its compact design. The handy item collapses to just 15cm thick when not in use. The dryer also boasts a six-level adjustable timer (30-180 minutes), allowing users to customise drying time to suit their needs, saving energy and money. The electric drying rack is also equipped with wheels for easy mobility, and includes anti-slip foot pads that can be added when the wheels aren’t in use, making it super practical for moving around the home. It’s also available in a 1000W design that’s on sale for £33 down from £50. Other heated airers currently available to shop include Lakeland’s Dry:Soon Deluxe 3 Tier Heated Clothes Airer which has £30 off. Shoppers can currently bag the Which? Best Buy airer for £200 instead of the usual £170. Another option is Dunelm’s Three Tier Heated Airer for £95. One shopper who owns the item said: “Brilliant, stable when standing, room for a full wash load. Dries and airs items well and means the condensation doesn’t build in a room.” Back at Amazon, and the Yorking 1500W Heated Clothes Airer is pretty popular with shoppers. One said: “Just moved into a new home, and don’t yet have an outside washing line. With the inclement weather we’re having at the moment, putting a line outside wasn’t the first thing on our agenda. We still need to dry our laundry though and our washer dryer isn’t very efficient. This dryer however is the best thing ever. Reasonable to run, and warms the house too. It folds up neatly, and doesn’t take up much room to store.” Another wrote: “Instead of having heating on full and clothes drying over two days I managed to get my clothes washed dried and then away within a couple of hours. I am amazed by this heated airer! My best purchase yet. I’ve put off getting one for last few months – would have saved a lot of money by not putting heating on. Only cost about £4 in electricity to dry two loads of clothes. Amazing.” Despite the mostly glowing reviews, one shopper did say: “Nice for a standalone drying rack. The heating function is useless, I stopped using it. Also hard to open and close. Overall is good but not worth the price.” However, another user had a positive experience with the airer for drying clothes during winter, commenting: “I kept ruining my designer clothes in the tumble dryer so looked at an alternative drying method for winter months. This works great and doesn’t shrink my clothes.” Shop the Yorking 1500W Heated Clothes Airer on sale at Amazon.
