The Grammy-winning global pop star Enrique Iglesias made a grand comeback to India after 13 long years and lit up Mumbai with his power-packed performance on Day 1 of his concert. The excitement was sky high as fans filled the same venue where he performed back in 2004. To make things smoother for the attendees, the Mumbai Metro decided to extend its services till midnight on both concert days, October 29 and 30. According to the latest updates from Mumbai Metro Line 3 (Aqua Line), the last train from Aarey and BKC towards Cuffe Parade will now operate until midnight. This extended schedule ensures that fans can enjoy events till the very end without worrying about missing the last train, which previously ran only until 10:30 PM. Special Late-Night Metro Timings Announced Taking to X (Formerly Twitter), the team behind Mumbai Metro 3 wrote, “Mumbai Heading to the Enrique Concert at BKC? Don’t rush the finale, Aqualine’s got you covered. Train services will run till 12 midnight on both concert days — 29th & 30th October 2025. Travel safe, travel smart with Metro Line 3.” The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) had also shared an update on its app, stating that special train services will run for the Enrique Iglesias concert at the MMRDA Grounds, BKC, on October 29 and 30. The last metro from Aarey and BKC going towards Cuffe Parade will leave around 11:42 PM and midnight, respectively. Meanwhile, the final trains from Cuffe Parade and BKC heading back to Aarey will start around 11:33 PM and 12:07 AM. Road Closures Upset Local Residents Near BKC While the Latin singer’s arrival thrilled thousands of fans, it also caused trouble for some people living nearby. Ahead of the concert at MMRDA Grounds in Bandra-Kurla Complex, several public roads were shut for safety and crowd control. This made it difficult for residents to reach their homes, as they were asked to take longer routes. An unhappy resident criticised the road closure and felt it was unfair to block public areas for a private event. The person also questioned how such permission was granted and suggested action should be taken if the organisers did not follow proper rules. 1.
