The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has launched special tour packages from Mysuru for devotees and tourists attending the Hasanamba Jatra Mahotsava in Hassan this month. The tours will run from October 10 to 22, covering major religious and tourist spots in Hassan district.
The Mysuru–Hassan–Mysuru package includes visits to Sri Hasanamba Temple, Siddeshwara Temple, Devigere Kalyani, and Sri Nageshwara and Channakeshava Temples at Mosale, covering a total distance of 280 km. Buses under the package will depart daily at 6 a.m. from Mysuru Central Bus Station.
The Volvo Multi-Axle bus package is priced at ₹2,000 for adults (including ₹1,000 for Hasanamba Temple darshan) and ₹1,800 for children, while the regular bus package costs ₹1,600 for adults and ₹1,500 for children. These packages are not eligible for any subsidy schemes, including the Shakti scheme for free travel for women.
Advance bookings are available at Mysuru Central Bus Station, KSRTC private counters, and online at ksrtc.karnataka.gov.in, said the divisional controller of KSRTC, Mysuru rural division.
