Premier League suitors could have a task on their hands convincing Harry Kane to move back after his situation has changed drastically. It was at one point seen as something of a formality that the forward would one day return to play in England, but his wife Kate could play a big role in ensuring that's not the case. The race is on for clubs to squeeze the last bit of value out of Kane's career. Set to turn 33 next summer, the Three Lions captain is understood to have a £56.7million release clause in his Bayern Munich contract that will come into effect at the end of this season. However, it's now being reported Kane's partner is keen for the family to extend their stay in Bavaria. Harry has been prolific for Die Roten and scored 105 goals in 109 appearances since joining Bayern for around £100m in the summer of 2023. That includes a ridiculous return of 74 goals in 71 Bundesliga outings, as well as delivering last season's league crown. Kane's contract is due to run until the summer of 2027, but there's plenty of evidence to suggest his sky-high standards will persist far beyond that date. Kate's willingness to extend the German leg of her husband's career presents a stark shift in mentality. That's after it seemed as though she was slightly less sold on the expedition when it first became apparent they would be leaving Tottenham . While Harry got to work almost immediately after his transfer was confirmed in August 2023, Kate was slightly behind in the process. She elected to remain in England at their Hertfordshire mansion while Harry laid the foundation at their new home in Munich. The Mail On Sunday confirmed through sources this was largely thanks to the fact Kate was pregnant with their fourth child at the time. Rather than add to her plate by moving mid-term, she remained in England to be closer to her and Harry's parents. But if there was any reluctance regarding the transition to German life, that appears to have dissipated on her part. And Kate has fully immersed herself in the new lifestyle, with Harry's comfort certainly translating to his on-field production. For each of the past two years, Kate has joined her hubby in celebrating the traditional Oktoberfest ceremonies . It's customary for Bayern's players to get involved in the festivities with their partners while donning the traditional lederhosen and dirndl. "Such an amazing time with @harrykane and the rest of the Bayern families at Oktoberfest," Kate wrote in an Instagram post celebrating Oktoberfest last year. "Since moving to Munich we’ve loved being part of the culture and traditions of the club and Bavaria, made us feel so at home." With 20 goals in 13 outings already this season, Kane once again looks to be enjoying himself as another potential crossroads awaits. And while the initial move may have taken time, it's wife Kate who may need some convincing to return to English shores just yet.
