Harmanpreet Kaur Joins Omaxe As Brand Ambassador To Boost Sports-Led Infra Vision

Real estate developer Omaxe Ltd on Monday said it has appointed Indian women’s cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur as its brand ambassador as the company sharpens its focus on sports-driven infrastructure and community development. The partnership, announced a day after India’s women’s team scripted a memorable World Cup victory, underscores Omaxe’s intent to build world-class sporting facilities and nurture athletic talent. It follows last year’s launch of The Omaxe State in Delhi, envisioned as an integrated hub for sports, leisure and culture. “Omaxe’s partnership with Harmanpreet reinforces its vision to back sporting excellence and create infrastructure where athletes can thrive. Building on last year’s launch of The Omaxe State, conceived as an integrated destination for sport, leisure, and culture, this association signals Omaxe’s intent to translate ambition into tangible facilities and programs that nurture talent and create livelihoods. As India’s women cricket team writes an inspiring World Cup chapter, Omaxe stands with the nation in celebrating and supporting this momentum,” the company said in a statement. The Indian women’s cricket team, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, made history by winning their first-ever ICC Women’s ODI World Cup after defeating South Africa by 52 runs. Chasing a target of 299, South Africa were in control for a while, but Deepti Sharma and Shafali Verma turned the match around with their brilliant performances. The company said the collaboration goes beyond a conventional endorsement, reflecting shared values of “leadership, resilience, and the conviction that the right platforms can transform talent into careers”. Harmanpreet said she is aligned with Omaxe’s vision of building paths for young athletes. “Being from Punjab, I have always felt a deep connection to the spirit of its people and the places that shape us. Omaxe’s presence in Punjab and its vision for creating world-class infrastructure give me great hope for communities and especially for the young generation,” she said. “Along with its remarkable work in Punjab, projects like The Omaxe State in Delhi reflect how thoughtful development can support sports and create platforms where talent can truly grow. I am proud to join Omaxe as its Brand Ambassador and to stand with a company that believes in empowering youth, strengthening communities, and building facilities that inspire dreams and turn them into achievements,” she added. Omaxe’s Managing Director Mohit Goel said the association will help build access to sports and drive women’s participation. “We welcome Harmanpreet to the Omaxe family with great pride. Her leadership, dedication, and ability to inspire mirror Omaxe’s commitment to purposeful development,” he said. “This partnership is about creating platforms that broaden access to sport, encourage greater participation of women in athletics, and strengthen local economies. One of the landmark outcomes of this vision will be the delivery of a new international-standard cricket stadium in the national capital after more than 140 years — a milestone for the city and for Indian sport,” Goel added. Omaxe has been expanding its portfolio with large integrated developments such as The Omaxe State in Dwarka, Omaxe New Chandigarh, Omaxe Chowk in Old Delhi, and its new BeTogether platform for PPP and joint development ventures. The company said the Harmanpreet partnership will extend to athlete development programmes, community outreach, grassroots initiatives and campaigns to encourage sports as a viable career, particularly for women.
