A hardworking Texas Roadhouse owner-operator was fired after his wife shared several posts mocking Charlie Kirk, including one that called him a ‘Nazi’.

Matthew Readling, 37, was terminated from his position at the restaurant in Milton, Florida, after Facebook posts created by his wife, Mallory Readling, also 37, circulated online over the weekend.

Several conservative influencers – including Scarlett Johnson, the social media manager for the right-wing group Moms for Liberty – condemned the comments about Kirk, who fatally shot in the neck last week.

On Saturday, Johnson posted to X that ‘servers are upset & feel intimidated’ after reading what their boss’s wife said about Kirk.

In one post, Mallory, who has since deleted her Facebook account, wrote: ‘I don’t feel sorry for a NAZI.

‘He didn’t unite ANYONE except on the grounds of HATRED AND RACISM. May god have mercy on THEIR SOULS.’

In another, Mallory shared: ‘Yall are NEVER OURTRAGED over school shootings though. Just mad when the RACIST, WHITE MAN dies.

‘My god. What is even going on anymore?’

A day after Johnson brought Mallory’s posts to light, Matthew’s father, Bill Readling, took to Facebook to share that his son had been fired.

His post confirming the move, which has since been deleted, also referred to Mallory as his ‘soon to be ex-daughter-in-law’.

He also said Mallory ‘needs serious mental health support,’ adding that Matthew cannot post on Facebook about the issues ‘because his company told him not to.’

Bill said he has loved watching his son move up the ranks at Texas Roadhouse over the years, but that he did ‘NOTHING wrong.’

According to the restaurant’s Facebook page, Matthew had been at the Milton location since 2021.

‘My son loves the people of Milton and [nearby] Pace,’ Bill added, ‘his employees and most all Texas Roadhouse.

‘I will be praying for Charlie’s family but also for my ex-daughter-in-law and hope she gets the help she needs.’

Texas Roadhouse also confirmed Matthew’s termination in a comment under one of the posts about Mallory’s statements.

‘These comments, which were attributed to an owner of Texas Roadhouse in Milton, do not reflect the view of Texas Roadhouse,’ the company said.

‘After an investigation, the managing partner of this location is no longer employed by our company. We hope to see you again soon.

In addition to Mallory’s posts about Kirk, she also shared a message about President Donald Trump.

In a since-deleted post, she wrote: ‘YOUR President is still a pedophile. YOUR president is still on Epstein’s list.

‘YOUR president is still a murderer. YOUR president is still a con man. YOUR president is still Hitler 2.0, but Hitler was smarter,’ she concluded.

In 2023, the couple were seen posing with Andy Armadillo, the restaurant’s mascot.
