In her memoir Softly, As I Leave You: Life After Elvis, Priscilla, 80, made shocking claims about the end of her marriage to late King of Rock and Roll Elvis in the early 1970s.
During the last days of her tumultuous marriage to Elvis, Priscilla admitted she started an affair with her karate instructor, Mike Stone.
Soon after in 1972, she ended her marriage to Elvis, whom she claimed was repeatedly unfaithful and caused her to feel “loneliness, isolation, jealousy, and guilt.”

Elvis felt “angry and humiliated,” she claimed, and blamed Mike when he learned about their ongoing relationship.
“Elvis found the thought of me with another man unbearable,” Priscilla wrote, claiming he turned to his right-hand man Joe Esposito and other members of his inner circle for help.
“In the weeks after my departure, he told the guys that Mike had to die. He even asked Joe to find a hitman.”
Priscilla claimed Joe told her to “be careful” and stay away from her ex, though he eventually calmed down and dropped the hitman plan.
Priscilla dated Mike for three more years, and the couple split in 1975. (Elvis famously died just two years later in 1977 at 42.)
She went on to date Kim Kardashian’s attorney father Robert, and Marco Garibaldi, the father of her son Navarone, 38.
With Elvis, Priscilla shared late daughter Lisa Marie, who died in 2023 at 54 from a small bowel obstruction.
In 2020, Priscilla lost her grandson Ben Keough to suicide at just 27.
Priscilla also described the pain of losing her daughter in her memoir, which hits bookshelves on September 23.
In an excerpt obtained by People, Priscilla wrote: “I knew from the first moment I walked into Lisa’s hospital room that she was already gone.”
“She was hooked to a machine that was breathing for her, and she had a heartbeat. There was little brain activity. Her spirit, always so vital, wasn’t there.
“They had restarted Lisa’s heart, but there was no guarantee it would keep beating.
“I asked the doctor, ‘What kind of life will she have if we keep her on that machine?’
“He looked at me with compassion and shook his head. “No quality of life at all.’
“I thought about my girl, my wild, rebellious, passionate girl, lying in a vegetative state for the rest of her life.
“I said what I had to. ‘Take her off the machine, Doctor.’ My voice was barely above a whisper.”
She said she collapsed from the pain after Lisa Marie was disconnected from life support.
“It was unbearable. I began to sob. I don’t remember falling. I know that Ivy [Priscilla’s cousin] caught me.
“After that, everything went dark. I can’t remember. I don’t want to remember.”
