A Turkish football expert compared Victor Osimhen with the likes of Erling Haaland and Isak. Turkish football analyst Sinan Engin compared Victor Osimhen to some of the best strikers in the world, stating confidently that Erling Haaland could not match the Nigerian's achievement in the Super Lig. What Sinan said Osimhen's recent performances in the Champions League and for Nigeria in the World Cup qualifiers have reignited the conversations around the Nigerian in comparison to his peers. The Super Eagles ace is undoubtedly the best centre-forward outside Europe's top five leagues. And for many like Sinan, he would be top three if he played in the Premier League, LALIGA, Serie A, Bundesliga or Ligue 1. “I'm going to make a separate point about Galatasaray,” he said, per GsGazette. “Osimhen is on a completely different level. Can you name three players in Europe better than him? No. Forget Gyökeres and Isak. I'd say Osimhen 10 times over. Sinan made a direct comparison between Osimhen and Haaland (consensus best striker in the world). He also reminded his audience that Didier Drogba did not have Osimhen's level of impact when he played for the Cim-Bom. “Even if Haaland joined Galatasaray, would he contribute this much? I'm not sure. Osimhen has already raked in €75 million for Galatasaray. “Neither Drogba nor any other striker has ever contributed as much as he has. Galatasaray can win all their remaining matches regardless of how they play. I think they'll get a total of 14-15 points in the group stages.”
