'H-Bomb Later, But First This': Rahul Gandhi Doubles Down On Election Body, CEC On Voter Theft Charge

New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi on Thursday went all out against the Election Commission (EC) alleging that voters were being deleted from Congress’ booths and communities that vote for the Grand Old Party. The Poll Body in a quick rebuttal has termed his allegations as ‘incorrect’ and ‘baseless’ saying no voter can be deleted online by any member of the public. Addressing a presser in New Delhi, Rahul Gandhi once again hit out at the poll body and accused Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar of allegedly protecting those who are indulging in vote theft. “The Chief Election Commissioner of India is protecting the people who have destroyed Indian democracy,” he said. ‘Not H-Bomb, But It’s Coming Later’, Says Rahul Gandhi Mentioning that this is not the H-bomb (Hydrogen Bomb) but it’s coming later, Rahul Gandhi said, “First of all, this is not the H-bomb, the H-bomb is coming. This is another milestone in setting up and demonstrating to the youth of this country how elections are being rigged.” Putting his charge forward against the alleged vote theft, Rahul Gandhi said that ‘Aland’ is a constituency in Karnataka where somebody tried to delete 6,018 votes. “Aland is a constituency in Karnataka. Somebody tried to delete 6018 votes. We don’t know the total number of votes that were deleted in Aland in the 2023 election. They are much higher than 6,018, but somebody got caught deleting those 6018 votes, and it was caught by coincidence.” “What happened was that the booth-level officer there noted that her uncle’s vote was deleted, so she checked who deleted her uncle’s vote, and she found that it was a neighbour who deleted the vote. She asked her neighbour, but they said I did not delete any vote. Neither the person deleting the vote nor the person whose vote was deleted knew. Some other force hijacked the process and deleted the vote…” ‘Won’t Say Anything Not Backed By 100 Per Cent Facts’, Says Rahul Gandhi Assuring that he won’t say anything that is not backed by 100 per cent facts, Rahul Gandhi said he loves the democratic process and the Constitution. “I am not going to say anything on this stage that is not backed up by 100 per cent truth. I am somebody who loves my country, I love my constitution, I love the democratic process, and I am protecting that process. I’m not going to say anything here that is not going to be based on 100% proof that you can determine,” said Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi. “In Aland, 6,018 applications were filed impersonating voters. The people who filed these applications actually never filed them. The filing was done automatically using software. Mobile numbers from outside Karnataka, from different states, were used to delete numbers in Aland, and it was done targeting Congress voters,” Rahul Gandhi concluded. Voters Being Deleted In Centralised Manner, Claims Rahul Gandhi Continuing with his charge, Rahul Gandhi said that voters are being deleted in centralised manner using software. Explaining it further, Rahul said, “Let’s talk about how this is being done and why I’m saying and we are saying that this is being done in a centralised manner and this is being done not using individuals but using software. Look at the serial numbers… A software is picking up the first name in the booth and using it to delete votes. Someone ran an automated program to ensure that the first voter at the booth was the applicant. That same person got cell phones from outside the state, used them to file the application, and we are pretty certain that this was done in a centralised manner and it was done at scale. This was not done at a worker level, this was done at a whole simpler level,” Rahul Gandhi said. Rahul Gandhi Reveals Why He is Accusing Gyanesh Kumar Hitting out at the CEC Gyanesh Kumar, Rahul Gandhi said that he was protecting those who are behind this vote theft. “‘Gyanesh Kumar ji vote-choro ki raksha kar rahe hai (Gyanesh Kumar is protecting vote-thieves). This is black and white evidence, there is no confusion in this…,” LoP said. Adding more to his argument, the Congress leader clarified as to why he was making a direct accusation on the CEC. Clarifying why he has directly accusing the Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, Rahul Gandhi said that there is an ongoing investigation in this matter. “Let’s come to why I’m making such a direct accusation about Gyanesh Kumar. There is an ongoing investigation into this matter in Karnataka. The CID of Karnataka has sent 18 letters in 18 months to the Election Commission, and they have asked the poll body for some very simple facts,” Rahul said. Building upon this, the LoP informed that the CID in Karnataka had written to the Election Commission 18 times in 18 months to provide them some specific details but they are not giving it. “Number one, give us the destination IP from where these forms were filled. Number two, give us the device destination ports from where these applications were filed. And number three, most importantly, give us the OTP trails because when you file, you have to get OTP. 18 times in 18 months, the CID of Karnataka has written to the Election Commission for this, and they are not giving it. Why are they not giving it? Because this will lead us to where the operation is being done, and we are absolutely convinced where this is going to go,” Rahul Gandhi said. “The Chief Election Commissioner of India, Gyanesh Kumar, needs to stop protecting the people who are destroying Indian democracy. We have given you 100% bulletproof proof here. EC has to release this data of these phones, these OTPs… In Rajura, Maharashtra, 6815 targeted voters were added. In Aland, we caught delitions, in Rajura, we got additions, but the basic idea is the same… It’s the same system that is doing this. It’s doing it in Karnataka, Maharashtra, Haryana, UP, and we have proof of all that,” Rahul Gandhi once again asked Chief Election officer. In another remark, the LoP said, “The shocking thing is that this has been going on for the last 10-15 years. This is a system, this is a structure. The democracy is hijacked. Democracy can only be saved by the people of India. Nobody else can save democracy. Rahul Gandhi can come here and say something and say this is the truth, but the people of India can do it.” Get Latest News Live on Times Now along with Breaking News and Top Headlines from India and around the world.
