Guy Fieri has featured a ton of great Minnesota restaurants on his Food Network shows. Fieri recently revealed his favorite restaurants in Minnesota; see them at the bottom of this story. The Food Network is my go-to when there's nothing on, and more often than not, that means watching one of Guy Fieri's shows. I've been watching Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives for years and love seeing Minnesota restaurants highlighted. Red Wagon Owner: Triple D Exposure "The Greatest Gift" to the Business Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives has been on since 2006. You can usually find all the old episodes on streaming services like YouTube TV. Last night, I was watching episode 12 of season 53, and it featured a Minnesota pizza maker that Guy Fieri really loves. Pizza maker, Peter Campbell, said Guy Fieri gave him "his greatest gift" by showcasing him and his restaurant on national TV. Campbell has appeared on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives and Guy's Grocery Games. Peter runs Red Wagon Pizza in Minneapolis and said business has been strong since his restaurant was first featured in 2017. Red Wagon began as a food truck before opening a permanent location in 2014. The pizza joint, located at 5416 Penn Ave S in Minneapolis, is known for its creative offerings, and Guy Fieri tried several on the episode I watched. Red Wagon Pizzas Showcased on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives Campbell showcased Red Wagon's most popular pizza, which is named after the restaurant. He told Guy the Red Wagon pizza is the top seller "by a mile." This pizza is topped with red sauce, sopressata, banana peppers, cheese, sausage, chili flakes, & fig balsamic. On the show, Peter said his favorite pizza to make is the PSO (pepperoni, sausage, onion), which has caramelized-onion red sauce, house cheese, sausage, spicy cup pepperoni, & hot habanero honey. Other pizzas showcased on this episode of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives included the Bama-Q, which has fried chicken and Alabama BBQ sauce on it, and the Bahn Mi pizza topped with sweet soy-glazed pulled pork. Fieri wrapped up the segment with Red Wagon Pizza by praising Campbell's pizzas and calling him a "gangsta."
