Gurugram Cylinder Blast: A major fire broke out on Sunday, November 1, in Gurugram’s Laxman Vihar area after a cylinder exploded in a house. Officials said the house had been illegally refilling gas cylinders for several months. The blaze followed multiple explosions in the area. Police and emergency teams rushed to the site and confirmed that no casualties were reported. A video of the incident is going viral, showing the repeated blasts causing panic in the area. The blazes had engulfed the entire house, endangering the lives of residents in nearby buildings. The video showed people running away from the building as they tried to save themselves. After the incident was reported, fire tenders quickly reached the incident site and brought the flames under control. A couple and their three children were injured in the incident after a cooking gas cylinder exploded in their house, causing three walls of a room to collapse. "Around 9.22 am on Monday, a fire incident was reported behind the Pratap Singh Metro Station at Nai Basti, Kishan Ganj. According to reports, a cooking gas cylinder exploded, causing a fire in which several people were burned," Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Raja Banthia said.
