It’s kind of a shame that Gunther is missing this Saturday’s WWE PLE Wrestlepalooza , or will he? “Very soon” could mean a surprise return. It’s a new era for the company. Every main roster PLE in the United States will be available on ESPN’s new direct-to-consumer service. The new ESPN app was released on August 21. Rollins is currently feuding with Punk, and it’s gotten to become a family affair. Their wives, Becky Lynch and AJ Lee, are now in the bitter feud, and the two couples will face each other in a mixed tag match at Wrestlepalooza.

So, while Rollins is preoccupied with ruining Punk’s career, he should be thinking about what will happen when Gunther comes back. “The Ring General” is going to want his title back. Rollins and Gunther don’t have that many matches against each other. It’s a total of four, and one was in 2019, and the last three were in 2023. Only one match was a singles match, too, which Rollins won via DQ. The two don’t have much of a history together, so if a feud does happen, it will be something different for a change. Rollins has a lot of enemies in the company, so it’s hard not to find someone that he has feuded with at least once. So, hopefully, we will see the two clash very soon.
