A higher education guidance and counselling for the differently-abled students pursuing Class XII was organised by the School Education Department at the Chief Education Officer’s campus here on Monday (October 27, 2025). The programme witnessed participation of over 73 students with their parents. The students sat through sessions on the potential envisioned under various streams, guidance on vocational streams, an awareness session on the courses, entrance examinations for professional courses including CLAT, JEE. Separate sessions on the common mistakes made while filling up applications, and the quotas for persons with disabilities in companies, were also conducted. Students and parents actively discussed with resource persons helming the various sessions. The event also witnessed release of ‘Vazhikaati’ - guidance booklet by Chief Education Officer(in-charge) Muniraj, which was distributed to students.
