A man who wore a Nazi uniform to Halloween festivities in the US has been charged by police after allegedly assaulting members of the public who confronted him outside a bar in a wild caught-on-video confrontation. The man, identified as 33-year-old Kenneth Leland Morgan, was seen in the bizarre viral footage wearing an elaborate SS-style uniform and grinning from ear to ear as a furious group of revellers berate him, before things take a violent turn and he appears to strike a woman in the face during a tussle. The wild confrontation took place in the early hours of Friday morning in downtown Athens, Georgia, near the University of Georgia campus. “Get the f**k out, get the f**k out, get the f**k out,” a woman yells in the video as she pushes and shoves him away from the entrance of the bar. A man can be heard saying, “Don’t touch him.” The man was wearing a full Nazi uniform. Picture: X He was reportedly kicked from the bar. Picture: X “You don’t f**king wear that s**t, what the f**k is wrong with you?” the woman says as she continues to shove and hurl abuse, as several other women join in the condemnation and jostle the grinning Nazi impersonator. Another student, wearing a UFC x Atlanta Hawks jersey, then wanders into the commotion and appraises the man’s costume, reacting with amused astonishment. “What the f**k!” he exclaims, before snapping a photo on his phone. Yeah!” the man filming the asks the newcomer, and the two share a handshake. “What up, bro? Look at this guy!” the man filming says, as they turn their attention back to the ongoing uproar behind them on the sidewalk. “This is … terrible,” a man says as they watch. He appears to strike a woman in the face. Picture: X The video cuts out shortly after. Picture: X A man in a blue shirt is then seen aggressively shoving Mr Morgan in the shoulder and screaming, “What the f**k is your problem?” Just as the one-minute clip ends, a scuffle breaks out between Mr Morgan and a woman wearing a red jacket, and he appears to strike her in the face with an object. Photos shared online showed Mr Morgan, still wearing the same grin, being handcuffed by local police. Local police seen arresting the man. Picture: X He was charged with assault and battery. Picture: X Athens-Clarke County Court records show Mr Morgan, an Athens resident, was booked just before 3am on Friday and charged with one count of aggravated assault of a female and one count of simple battery of a male. The simple battery is a misdemeanour with a $US1500 bond ($2300), while the aggravated assault charge is a felony with no bond. No booking photo has been released. A spokeswoman for the Athens-Clarke County Police Department (ACCPD) said in a statement to news.com.au, “We are aware of this incident involving the arrest of Kenneth Leland Morgan.
