    Greyhound adds bus routes through the Quad-Cities

    Greyhound is expanding its Midwest network with new routes connecting Chicago and Denver and Chicago and Des Moines, which include stops in Moline and Davenport.
    Services on both routes began Sunday, Sept. 28, according to Greyhound’s Monday announcement.
    Karina Frayter, head of communications at Flix North America, said the new routes will ensure “uninterrupted service” and keep millions of people in communities across the Midwest and Mountain West connected with convenient, reliable long-distance transportation.
    “With comfortable buses, free Wi-Fi, and easy app booking, outdoor enthusiasts can explore Colorado, families can connect with their loved ones across the Midwest, and college students in Iowa can reach Chicago for weekend festivals — all without the high cost or hassle of driving or flying,” Frayter said.
    The Chicago-Denver route will offer one round-trip daily, seven days a week. Stops along the route are:
    Illinois: Chicago, Rockford, Moline
    Iowa: Davenport, Iowa City, Grinnell, Des Moines
    Nebraska: Omaha, Lincoln, Grand Island, Lexington
    Colorado: Denver
    The Chicago-Des Moines route will offer one round-trip daily, five days a week. Stops along the route are:
    Illinois: Chicago, Moline
    Iowa: Davenport, Iowa City, Des Moines
    Additional stops are likely to be added to the routes in the coming weeks.
    Tickets can be purchased online on Greyhound’s website or on the Greyhound mobile app.
