Greensboro police have reduced traffic to one lane on a section of eastbound West Friendly Avenue due to a traffic crash with an overturned vehicle, authorities said Thursday.

The overturned vehicle struck a utility pole at the intersection of West Friendly Avenue and Smyres Place, Greensboro police said.
A Duke Energy crew is repairing the damage to the utility pole, police said. There is no estimated time when its repairs will be completed.
Drivers are encouraged to avoid this area and use an alternate route for travel, police said.
