Greensboro News & Record print newspaper to publish 6 days

People find Greensboro News & Record stories in many ways.
Some people are alerted to local news by email or on our mobile app, while others find our stories on social media platforms such as Facebook and NextDoor. The printed newspaper still provides the day’s news, sports, puzzles and more, but the E-edition – a digital replica of the printed paper – is an increasingly popular option.
We work hard to bring you news, sports and features content when and where you want it, and we’re constantly evaluating the best ways to do that. We know that as reader habits change, we must adapt to meet their needs.
Starting the week of Nov. 3, the News & Record will produce a printed paper six days a week, from Tuesday through Sunday. We will continue to produce an E-edition seven days a week and post the latest news, sports, weather and features on greensboro.com.
Our commitment to delivering the news has not changed. Reporters and photographers will still produce crucial community content every day, and we will alert you to breaking news as soon as it develops. You’ll continue to find the latest news and sports online and in the E-edition on Monday mornings.
The E-edition, which can be found at greensboro.com/eedition, gives you everything in the printed newspaper and much more. You can flip through the pages just like you do with the newspaper. When you click on a local article, you’ll see the latest updates and video, photos, interactive maps and other digital items that will give you a deeper understanding of the issue. You’ll find extra comics and puzzles you can print out if you prefer to solve them with a pen, as well as sports scores from games that ended after our print deadline.
This change to the Monday publications allows us to focus on the products that readers are using the most. And because we do not have print deadlines, we can finalize the E-edition later at night in order to bring you the latest news and sports from the weekend.
Content on the E-edition, website and mobile app is free for print subscribers. If you’ve never logged in before, visit greensboro.com/activate to set up your online account and then check out all of the added features at your fingertips. We’re confident you’ll find something you like.
Thank you for being a loyal subscriber. We appreciate you.
