Basecamp, a new youth initiative, is launching this fall to help high school boys navigate isolation, stress and uncertainty about their futures. The program offers a safe space to connect, build confidence and gain mentorship from community leaders.
An introductory meeting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, at the Railroad Street Youth Project’s Drop-In Center, 60 Bridge St. Free food will be provided.
Monthly gatherings will combine team-based activities with guided discussions on topics such as masculinity, identity, friendship, digital life, and financial literacy. Each session will feature mentors from the community — business leaders, educators and health professionals — who will share their knowledge and experience.
