Grants awarded to East Moline community nonprofits

East Moline Community Fund has announced its fall grant recipients with 15 nonprofits splitting $20,500.
The fund is part of the Moline Regional Community Foundation and has supported local organizations through grants and community partnerships for decades.
East Moline Community Fund will host a grant awards ceremony with the recipients to celebrate and recognize local nonprofit organizations that are making a meaningful difference in the East Moline community.
Founded in 1953, the community foundation partners with individuals by establishing grantmaking funds and serves a six-county region, of Rock Island, Henry, Mercer, Henderson and McDonough counties in Illinois, and Scott County in Iowa.
“We are proud to honor these organizations and the work they do to strengthen East Moline,” said Eric Davis, chair of the East Moline Community Fund. “Our grants are an investment in the future of our community, and this event is a chance to showcase the incredible efforts taking place right here at home.”
