The new release date is November 19, 2026, Take-Two Interactive said during their quarterly earnings report on November 6. That’s six months after the date it was previously pushed to, and a full year after the planned 2025 release. Still, Take-Two is trying to remain optimistic. “We remain both excited and confident they will deliver an unrivalled blockbuster entertainment experience,” CEO Strass Zelnick said, per The Hollywood Reporter. Rockstar Games apologized for “adding additional time to what we realize has been a long wait,” in a blog post insisting “these extra months will allow us to finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve.” “While the wait is a little longer, we are incredibly excited for players to experience the sprawling state of Leonida and a return to modern day Vice City,” it reads.
