Asante Kotoko were held to a goalless draw by Vision FC on Wednesday at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema, failing to build on their recent victory over Hearts of Oak in a thrilling Ghana Premier League (GPL) clash. The stalemate leaves Kotoko four points behind league leaders Aduana FC, despite having two games in hand. A win would have narrowed the gap to just two points, but the Porcupine Warriors were unable to break down a resilient Vision FC side. The match was tightly contested, with Kotoko dominating possession and creating several clear-cut chances. Vision FC, however, were far from passive, crafting opportunities of their own and nearly snatching all three points. Kotoko remain unbeaten in seven league matches, recording four wins and three draws, and currently occupy seventh place on the table. Their next challenge comes this weekend against Aduana FC, who lead the league. Vision FC, now 10th on the GPL table, will take confidence from their performance and aim to build on the point when they face Basake Holy Stars in their next league fixture.
