Google (GOOGL) parent company Alphabet has issued its Q3 2025 quarterly earnings report. The company appears to be showing growth across various sectors and this includes YouTube. YouTube has once again surpassed $10 billion in ad revenue, coming in with $10.261 billion for the most recent quarter. "Alphabet had a terrific quarter, with double-digit growth across every major part of our business," Alphabet/Google CEO Sundar Pichai said in the Alphabet Q3 2025 earnings report. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the increased ad revenue can be attributed to YouTube continuing to lead the sharing of TV revenue in the U.S., beating other streaming services. YouTube has consistently led in this category for several months with its lead over competitors Disney and Netflix continuing to grow. YouTube's ad revenue is up from $9.8 billion in the previous quarter and up from $8.9 billion at this point in 2024. This is the second time in 2025 that YouTube has passed $10 billion in ad revenue, having recorded $10.473 billion in Q4 2024.
