Reverend Kate Bottley has stunned fans after posing completely naked on the beach. The TV star, 50, who is best knowing for having previously appeared on Channel 4’s Gogglebox , took to Instagram over the weekend to share the saucy snaps. In the fist picture, Kate, who has been married to Graham Bottley since 1998 , lay down on her front in the nude and grinned as her feet popped up behind her. In the second snap, she and her husband were in the buff and they held hands whilst facing away from the camera. With two heart emojis placed over their bare bottoms, Kate wrote in the caption: “Immaculate vibes at the @northeastskinny But hilarious that I had a sunday off @bbcradio2 and I was up and out of bed earlier than I usually am!” Revealing that the whole stunt was in an effort to raise money for a mental health charity, she added: “Thanks to everyone who said ‘hello’ and didn’t ask for a selfie #skinnydip @mindcharity. PS that is seaweed I promise.” Fans of the TV star, who also presents a number of religious programmes and has made appearances on Celebrity Mastermind and The Weakest Link since finding fame, rushed to the comments section to praise her for her actions. One wrote: “My god, you’re braver than me, well done!” whilst another said: “Sounds like fun to me.” A third joked: “Can’t decide if you are brave or crazy…..I think maybe a perfect mix of the two!” Kate’s famous pals also infiltrated the comments section with the post. Fellow radio host Zoe Ball said: “this has made my heart happy”, whilst Blue Peter legend Helen Skeleton left two heart emojis to show her support. Former Bake Off star John Waite , who launched a career on OnlyFans following his Strictly Come Dancing win but recently announced the closure of his X-rated page, wrote: “I love you.” The liberating post comes just weeks after Kate, who appeared on the Channel 4 show from 2014 to 2016, spoke bout about the intrusive nature of the show that made her fames. She starred alongside her husband Graham and their late dog Buster. The couple, who have two children, welcomed cameras into their home in Blyth during the several series that they took part in the long-running reality TV show . Kate reflected on her rise to fame on Gogglebox in an episode of the Walking the Dog podcast released yesterday. She said on the podcast: “I wish I’d known how much it took over our life for two and a half years. It’s reality TV. It’s by its nature … it’s consensual exploitation. […] It was quite intrusive, really. But y’know we consented to that intrusion.” Speaking about her family, she went on to say: “My kids spent two and a half years sat in their bedrooms every Tuesday and Thursday night or whatever nights they came to film. My kids didn’t have friends round for a lot [of it and] didn’t have help with their homework. Things like that.” Kate also claimed that they “got paid very little”. She said: “They paid but I cooked two nights a week for the crew.” She then said that she offered to cook because Graham “won’t eat takeaways” and she didn’t want to be filmed eating. She said: “All the money we got from it went on the electricity, the internet connection that they were using and the food and being hospitable to six people in my home two nights a week. It’s a vicarage as well – I should be hospitable. “We should be sharing our homes with people and eating food together and stuff. So y’know it was a good two and a half years but we couldn’t have done any more with it, I don’t think. It got to the point where we were just a bit overwhelmed.” Like this story?
