Yet, amid their commentary on this week's television offerings, Simon Minty revealed to his sister Jane that he'd achieved a rather peculiar personal record. He remarked, "I reached a milestone this week, Jane and I don't know if I'm proud or embarrassed. I have completed every episode of NCIS. "There are 22 series available, of which each series has about 20 episodes. I've found there are 490 episodes. I have watched them all from start to finish, in order." She responded: "Is that what you call binge watching?" He continued: "I didn't do it in one go!" The brother and sister duo have featured on the Channel 4 programme since 2021 and swiftly became audience darlings. Earlier this year, Jane recounted a workplace mishap she'd experienced in her professional kitchen whilst working as a chef. She explained to Simon in a video: "Mistook twenty egg whites, instead of twenty grams of egg whites. I was preparing a demonstration tray." Puzzled, Simon enquired whether this meant she had an excess or shortage, as she admitted it was 'far too many'. She continued: "But, they will be used. Not wasted." He responded in jest: "See it's a bit over my head, it's all a bit in the biz, the chefing business. It's obviously a yoke for chefs that one." Yet, it wasn't Simon's revelation that had viewers buzzing on Friday night as they were whipped into a frenzy after catching sight of the notorious Coca-Cola Christmas advert during the first break. It didn't take long for people to turn to social media to comment on the festive clip, with many pointing out one thing in particular. One viewer exclaimed: "I'm watching #Gogglebox and at the advert break was the Coca Cola #HolidaysAreComing advert!!!! It is officially Christmas!!"
