St. John’s Prep will finish the regular season atop the Globe’s Top 20 football poll on the heels of a 43-28 comeback win over rival Catholic Memorial. Top 10 teams Methuen and Natick were dealt close losses in their finales, with Milton making the biggest jump up to No. 9 after upending Natick in a Bay State showdown. Tewksbury finally cracks the top 10 after completing its first undefeated regular season since 2016. The bottom of the poll is jumbled with evenly-matched Hockomock Davenport contenders, as North Attleborough beat Foxborough after losing last week to Mansfield, which lost to Canton Friday; and Canton had previously dropped close games to the other two programs. Winchester and Archbishop Williams head into the state tournament undefeated, as does No. 11 Shawsheen, the program with a state-best 22-game win streak.
