The top five teams in the Globe’s Top 20 football poll won in blowout fashion Friday night, but Barnstable was dealt its first loss in a close matchup at La Salle (R.I.), shifting the Red Hawks down to the No. 8 spot. Methuen, the MVC Large champion, and Central Catholic fill the void after the Raiders bounced back with a win over Andover. Mansfield avenged a loss to North Attleborough in the Division 3 Super Bowl with a 24-14 win on the road, so the Hornets move back into the Top 10, trading places with Bishop Feehan, which came from behind to beat Franklin. Marshfield outlasted Hingham, 7-6, in a Patriot League slugfest to earn a fifth straight win and the No. 15 spot in the poll. Advertisement Records based on scores reported to the Globe.
