The New York Giants took the field for a Week 8 rematch against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon. Midway through the second quarter, Giants running back Cam Skattebo suffered a gruesome right led injury on an attempted catch across the middle of the field. The rookie ball-carrier went down in some serious pain at Lincoln Financial Field. The injury was so bad that the Fox Sports broadcast declined to show a replay. Giants medical staff stabilized Skattebo’s right led in a walking boot and carted him off the field. The 23-year-old running back got a standing ovation from the Eagles’ home crowd as he exited the stadium.
