Ghanaian Gospel Artist, Daniel Asamoah earns PhD in Zambia alongside 11 Others

Renowned Ghanaian gospel artist and public servant, Daniel Asamoah, popularly known as “The Singing Prophet” of “Di Yen Anim” fame, has successfully earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Health from the Livingstone International University of Tourism Excellence and Business Management (LIUTEBM) in Lusaka, Zambia.

The graduation ceremony was held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre in Lusaka, and brought together distinguished scholars and professionals from across the continent.

Dr. Asamoah, a senior staff member of the Health Facilities Regulatory Agency (HeFRA), completed his dissertation on “Healthcare Facilities Regulations in Ghana: Compliance and Challenges.” His work is expected to contribute significantly to public health policy and the regulation of healthcare facilities in Ghana.

With years of expertise in health regulations, healthcare facility establishment, and the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Dr. Asamoah’s academic milestone highlights his dedication to improving Ghana’s healthcare system. His achievement also underscores his ability to combine excellence in music, public service, and academia.

“This remarkable achievement is a testament to his dedication, perseverance, and passion for academic excellence,” organisers of the event noted.
