Get the best Mickey ear headbands at Disney Store, BaubleBar & Loungefly

Going to Disney World without a pair of Mickey ears feels like going to a Yankees game without a baseball hat. It just doesn’t feel right.
If you’re checking off items on your Disney packing list, Mickey ears should be toward the top of your list. I’m of the mindset that the more the merrier, but I also am a shopping editor, and I love to buy things online.
Where to find the best Mickey Mouse ears
You’re going to want to pack some Mickey Mouse ears before you head to the parks, but you might be torn on where to find the best ones. Best is obviously subjective; what I like might not be what you like. However, I can tell you where you can find the best quality ears!
If this were 2015, your options would be fairly limited, but in 2025, there’s a ton of places where you can buy incredible Mickey ears, like:
Disney Store
BaubleBar
BoxLunch
Loungefly
Vera Bradley
Target
Etsy
Little Ears Boutique
Unlike when Disneyland opened in 1955 and the traditional Mickey ears were atop a felt cap, now you can get Mickey ears on a headband and a hat, or you can even buy magnetic ears that attach to anything.
As someone who travels to Disney all the time, I have my top picks for buying Mickey ears. I always like to get one pair as a souvenir in the parks, but before I travel, I either shop at Disney Store, BaubleBar or Etsy.
Disney Store & Loungefly Mickey Ears
For many recent years, Etsy was the best place to get Mickey ears. The classic ears offered in the Disney parks used to be very limited in terms of style and characters. If you wanted anything that wasn’t Mickey or Minnie specific, you had to go to Etsy to get custom ears.
Disney must have felt the competition from all of the creators on Etsy, because Disney Store’s website has stepped it up and the ears are better than ever. New ears are released in the parks and online almost every week. Like now, there are endless Mickey headband options for “Toy Story” ahead of the film’s 30th anniversary, like Slinky Dog, Buzz Lightyear and Woody.
Disney Store also recently released a “Create Your Own” headband, which was initially launched exclusively in the Disney Parks and later became available online. The customizable headband allows you to mix and match plush heads of your favorite characters, like the classic Mickey and Minnie, or Pixar favorites like Joy and Sadness from “Inside Out.”
You can even buy rat – not mouse – ears from the Disney Store. Everyone can cook with the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Ear Headband.
How much are Mickey ears at Disney World and Disneyland?
Mickey ear prices are the same online as they are in the parks. But, you can find more deals online, because Disney’s exclusive sales are typically online only and not at the Disney Parks store locations. However, you can get discounts in the parks on select merchandise if you’re an annual passholder and/or if you have a Disney credit card.
Mickey ears direct from Disney range in price, with the customizable headband costing $10 (just for the headband) and $12 for each plush character. Traditional ear headbands and ear hats cost between $20 and $550.
What ears cost over $500, you ask? Well, that would be the custom Vera Wang bridal Minnie ears, of course. Dooney & Bourke also has adorable $198 Minnie ears, if you’ve got the budget for them. But not all ears are hundreds of dollars; typically, new Mickey ear headbands cost between $35 and $45.
We often see Mickey ears marked down on Disney’s website. Right now, there’s a ton of styles on sale, including these Maleficent ears, which are only $26, instead of $45.
Where to buy custom & budget-friendly Mickey ears
You can opt for bedazzled ears, budget-friendly options and more.
If you’re looking for more blinged-out Mickey ears, BaubleBar is where you need to shop. Between their gleaming Disney bag charms and sparkly Minnie ears, you’re going to be as glittery as can be at the parks. You can even get your name customized on the headband when you opt for the Custom Nameplate Minnie Headband.
Your budget might have some room for Minnie ears, just not $50+ headband styles. Thankfully, Amazon and Target have you covered.
Amazon has a pair of sparkly, sequin Minnie Mouse ears for only $10. They’re also ranked the #1 bestseller for costume headbands. You can buy other $10 ears from the same Amazon storefront, like the aliens from Toy Story, Lightning McQueen and even some Christmas ears.
