GES declares November 7 public holiday for pre-tertiary schools to mark national CPD day

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that all public pre-tertiary schools across the country will be closed on Friday, November 7, 2025, to enable teachers to participate in the National Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Day. This follows GES’ ongoing efforts to enhance teacher competence and educational outcomes nationwide. According to the statement, this term’s CPD training will focus on Cybersecurity and Data Protection, an increasingly vital area for educators in the digital age.
